Granulated Harborough honey started life as a clear honey, we then allow it to naturally granulate, we do not do anything to the honey or have any control over it as such unlike how we make soft set honey. The gritty texture of this honey usually ends up not far off granulated sugar in terms of granule size, but mixed with honey.
This as are all of our honey products, harvested from our very own apiaries in and around Market Harborough, England.
Granulated Harborough honey is a bit hard for a lot of people, however, we find it is ideal for spreading on warm toast as it’s firm gritty texture helps it stick to your toast without making a running off and making a mess! This and the soft set honey are our most popular if you want something spreadable.
