We place our beehives in the most favourable locations where they can fly to woodland, field crops and well stocked hedgerows. The bees usually cover a radius of up to 3 miles from where their hive is located. The bees may find all sorts of different blossoms to forage. Around Market Harborough we generally see oil seed rape, clover, blackberry, hawthorn, dandelion, giant rosebay, sycamore, lime and chestnut trees, which all adds to a great tasting honey!
