Dark and Stingy Cocktail
Dark and Stingy, just like some of the British Black Bees that we keep in our apiaries, don’t worry this cocktail doesn’t sting. This drink based on the well know “Dark and Stormy” really is a delicious easy to make cocktail that has some lasting heat from the spices in the THREE BEES Honey Spiced Rum combined with the ginger beer.
To be served in: High ball

Ingredients

50ml THREE BEES Honey Spiced Rum

25ml Fresh lime juice

1 Tsp Harborough Honey
-
3 dashes of Angostura bitters

100ml Ginger Beer (chilled)

1 Wedge of Lime to garnish

Ice
Method

Step 1 Add the Harborough honey a glass along with equal parts boiling water. Stir until thinned and runny.

Step 2 Add 2 – 3 dashes of the Angostura bitters to a glass then top off with ice.

Step 3 Pour fresh lime juice and ginger beer over the ice. Stir well to mix together, then pour in the THREE BEES Honey Spiced Rum.

Step 4 Add a wedge of lime to the rim of the glass to garnish.
